A three disc set and one single 7" 45 rpm were recorded in New Orleans with "Madame Charlot's Original Dixieland Band" (as they are called on the jacket). One song-"Dirty Fairy"-mentions the year 1957, and very clearly this may be taken as an approximate release date. In the testimony of his trial, Bourbon mentions a Miss Carmelita Mass, the producer of his records in New Orleans and from whom he was never adequately compensated. It is almost certain that it was these records to which he was referred.
